Michigan City, IN – Duneland Dialysis, a U.S. Renal Care dialysis center and a leading provider of dialysis services for patients suffering from chronic kidney failure, will host a Grand Opening celebration on November 17th. The Grand Opening will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and will be commemorated with the Michigan City Chamber of Commerce conducting a ribbon cutting ceremony welcoming the new facility to the community.

This event will give patients, the public, and healthcare professionals the opportunity to talk one-on-one with the staff, tour the facility and learn about the advanced treatments the new clinic offers including at-home care with the new, high tech Amia cycler, three home training rooms, Extraneal dialysis solutions, and interact with the most highly skilled, caring nursing staff. It also boasts a Liko Patient Lift that enhances the inherent culture of safety within the facility. Abundant windows provide natural light and a warm color palette create a comforting, home- like environment. Dialysis chairs and machines are the latest generation in the provision of patient comfort and quality dialysis. An onsite generator prevents patients from missing treatments in the event of major storms or power outages.

“Having studied and practiced in Indiana for my entire medical career, I know that having an accessible, full-service dialysis clinic is critical for those needing frequent care,” said Dr. Brady. “I look forward to working to serve the medical needs of this community, bringing quality care to the greater Michigan City community. Knowing that I will be working alongside other professionals who are just as dedicated only makes this role more enticing.”
