Danuta Trzebinska, MD

Associate Chief Medical Officer, Value-Based Care


Dr.  Trzebińska is the Associate Chief Medical Officer of Value-Based Care for U.S. Renal Care. She most recently served as National Medical Director of Cricket Health, a value-based kidney care company that provides comprehensive care management to people with kidney disease while working to improve patient outcomes and reduce cost.

 

Previously, Dr. Trzebińska was a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center where she served as Medical Director of the Chronic Kidney Disease Clinic, the first chronic kidney disease (CKD) clinic program in the United States to receive disease-specific certification from The Joint Commission. In addition to her value-based care experience, Dr.  Trzebińska has experience with acute dialysis therapies including CRRT, apheresis, and oversight of acute and chronic home and incenter dialysis.

 

Born and raised in Poland, Dr. Trzebińska received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her Residency in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA, before moving to University of California, San Diego where she completed her Fellowship and spent much of her career.
