Americans with Disabilities Act
This act prohibits employers with 15 or more employees from discriminating in hiring, training, and other privileges of employment, and requires employers to make reasonable accommodations for those with disabilities.
Family and Medical Leave Act
This act allows eligible employees to take unpaid, job-protected leave for specified family and medical reasons with continuation of insurance coverage.
The Ticket to Work Program
This program aims to help Social Security beneficiaries go to work, get a good job and become financially independent while keeping their Medicare or Medicaid coverage.
