Senior Vice President, Finance

Kelly Barker

Kelly Barker joined U.S. Renal Care in 2021 as the Senior Vice President, Finance. She brings with her 29 years of experience in the healthcare finance/accounting arena. Immediately prior to joining U.S. Renal Care, Kelly was the Controller at Retina Consultants of America (RCA), a private equity-backed healthcare company, and assisted in growing the company’s net revenue from $400M to $1.2B. Prior to RCA, Kelly was the Senior Vice President – Operations Controller at United Surgical Partners, International (USPI). During her 17 year tenure, she held responsibility for all of the financial processes occurring at each of the company’s ~300 ambulatory surgery centers and surgical hospitals, balancing financial oversight with maintaining strong physician and hospital joint venture relationships. Prior to USPI, Kelly was with CIGNA Healthcare for seven years and served in a number of capacities, including the Controller of the North Texas Health plan, managing the company’s capitation system for two health plans, and contract profitability analysis. Kelly earned her undergraduate Accounting degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and her Masters of Business Administration from Arizona State University.
