Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative & Clinical Information Officer

Ahmad Sharif, MD, MPH, SCPM

Dr. Sharif is the Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative & Clinical Information Officer of U.S. Renal Care. Before joining USRC, Dr. Sharif’s extensive background includes leadership roles in healthcare, medical informatics, EHRs, governance, change management, and process transformation.

Most recently, Dr. Sharif was Chief Medical Information Officer, and earlier, Vice President Clinical Health Information Technology at Fresenius Medical Care (FMC). In these roles, Dr. Sharif led the Fresenius Technology Council and oversaw the IT budget and strategic roadmap, the clinical implementation of Epic system for Acumen physician solutions, and was a leader and member of various medical boards and committees at FMC and its affiliate organizations.

Dr. Sharif earned his master’s degree in Public Health Policy and Management from the University of North Texas. He was awarded a full scholarship to attend courses at Harvard University and received an Advanced Project Management Certification at Stanford University.
